Kia ora and hello - my name is Susan Miller and I own and run PURENZDESIGN.  

New Zealand inspires some clever crafty folk (and I'm totally inspired by them).  In appreciation of what these people do, this website has been developed to bring these beautiful creations to you.  Let's face it - we all like beautiful things they make us feel good - so I hand-pick items from experts within NZ and from New Zealanders living abroad and bring them together for you to enjoy. You have the opportunity to purchase some extraordinary designs and some one-of-a-kind pieces - some of them are exclusive to PURENZDESIGN and others you won't find anywhere else online. Just in case you wanted to know a little about me - I have a varied background.  I have been involved in community projects, been a lawyer and I am married with two small children and live in Nelson.  I wanted to create a business that I could run from home.  For lots of reasons -  to be able to go on school trips, work for myself, to be the family chauffeur (yeah right!), lower overheads and work in an area I am passionate about - to name a few.

The products for the site are all hand-picked with function and style in mind.  I ask myself, do these products work?  For example, the soap.  These are amazing - handmade and fantastic.  Honestly, if you could smell the screen - you would be buying up to lather up.  I personally use them and so does my family - they are amazing.  My 2 year old daughter has sensitive skin and any of these soaps can be used on her skin.  She loves them and so do we for treating her skin and the environment with tenderness.   In relation to the children's hats - they too are function and style in one.  The ties keep the hat on (from those little active fingers!!) and they are lined with soft towelling - so when it's hot - those precious little heads are kept comfty in the heat and they look great at the same time - what more could you ask for.  You can spot a kiwi kid a mile away with one of these on!
